Who We Are

Andy Links Foundation is a non -governmental organization founded and incorporated in 2017 with the primary responsibility of reaching out to the less privileged people in society, assisting the widows, orphans and vulnerable people across denomination and creed. It is a community based, NGO focused on putting smile on peoples’ faces irrespective of their race and nationality. Andy Links Foundation is Abuja based registered non-profit organization where like-hearted individuals come together and become agents of change.

Our key areas of focus are what we believe to be the pillars of a fulfilling life: health and education.
In March 2017, the Foundation began its first community programme by delivering a water tank borehole at St. Kizito’s Catholic Parish, Kuje for the use of the community in assisting the poor and vulnerable persons.
Andy Links Foundation proceeded to Akwa Ibom in May, 2017 and registered her presence in three Local Government Areas, such as Essien Udim (Urua Akpan), Ikot Ekpene and Ikot Abasi respectively to deliver health awareness sessions where free eye care was delivered to over 900 members of the Community, offering them free eye classes, scheduling critical eye challenges for surgery and helping with drugs that could help correct their eye challenges in the interim.

Plans are on the way as part of its mandate to introduce Happy Kids Programme, where we felt the urge to get engaged in providing quality education to vulnerable children from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Andy Links Foundation guiding philosophy believes in community empowerment as opposed to a direct charity model.

Education is not just a recognized fundamental right: it is a powerful force to make a breakthrough from the cycle of poverty and to bring about change in society. However, it doesn’t simply imply being enrolled in a school but, to be effective and fully functional, it requires a caring, nurturing, safe and healthy social and physical environment.

According to the founder, Chief (Dr.) SM A. B. Ubong, “We work with a few students at a time. We cannot change the world at one go, but it is our sincere belief that if we can help a few to change their world, it would make for an inspiring beginning.”
